On The Road with Thrive After 55

In August, Lora and I traveled through Utah, putting on Thrive After 55 workshops. The workshops were well received, and people young and old were challenged to do something to prepare for their future.

Imagine going on a 4-week road trip without any preparation or itinerary! Wait, some of you do that! But I bet you don’t do it with your kids. You have to prepare. During our last road trip in Utah, after the ministry portion, we traveled for fun: Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons. We had 116-degree heat in Nevada, and 100 degrees in Arizona at the end of our trip. We had 28 degrees overnight in Yellowstone and everything in between, including rain almost every day for the first week. Preparation was vital! That is just a trip! We have 20-40 years in the last third of our life, and it will go much better if we prepare. That is part of what we share at workshops. I also had the privilege of speaking on Sunday mornings at a few churches and having multiple meals with pastors along the way.

We were able to finish the Thrive After 55 workbook and take them with us! It came out great, but since it is more of an “author’s copy,” I am making a few changes and will upload the changes in a few weeks. The second edition will be amazing! It is available on Amazon right now! Click here to order.

The next quarter will be a creative one. We only have 1 trip for a conference and ministry in Cedar City, then we are home for the rest of the quarter. I will be editing my workbook, connecting with lots of pastors about coming to their church next year, creating lots of videos, and the biggest project is still the Built To Thrive Platform. I am still working on that, and I am much closer to the finish line!

Thank you for praying for us as we continue to walk out the calling God has given us. To those who financially support us, thank you so much! You are part of what I am doing, and right now we are sowing lots of seeds for the future.
